Am I eligible for financial aid if I'm only taking the Refresher Course?
Financial aid is not available for students just taking the Refresher Course.
I am applying for financial aid for the full six week program, and I am also interested in attending the Refresher Course. Do I need to fill out a separate application for this?
If you are applying for financial aid and interested in attending this additional course, please let us know on your general application. Consideration of your financial aid application will include any courses you request to attend, and if you are awarded financial aid, these courses will be incorporated into your overall financial aid package.
International Financial Aid Applicants
What other financial aid is available for international students?
Anyone participating in the program, whether currently a student in an academic institution or not, is eligible to apply for financial aid.
We offer up to two full scholarships to students from regions where Yiddish was historically spoken, such as Central and Eastern Europe. These scholarships cover tuition, airfare, housing, and a small living stipend during the program.
While these scholarships are extremely competitive, we also offer partial or full tuition waivers, ranging in value from $775 to $3,100 USD*. Financial aid in the form of tuition waivers does not cover housing or living expenses.
